Liana Finck is a cartoonist and author. She is a comic contributor to The New Yorker and creates handmade prints. Finck has authored several graphic novels and a children’s book. Her most recent is a graphic memoir, “How to Baby: A No-Advice-Given Guide to Parenthood,” and her graphic novel “Let There Be Light: The Real Story of Her Creation” was longlisted for the 2023 Carol Shields Prize for Fiction. Finck has also contributed comics to Huffington Post, The Awl, The Modern Golem and Catapult, and she has been an artist in residence at New York Foundation for the Arts and MacDowell, among others. She is the recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship, a 2023 Guggenheim Fellowship and a Berlin Prize.
