Lina Marie Useche Jaramillo

Lina Maria Useche isco-founder and executive director of Aliança Empreendedora, a nonprofit that supports microentrepreneurs in Brazil through partnerships with companies, NGOs, and governments and with business models that stimulate entrepreneurship in low-income communities. Previously, she was co-founder and executive director of Impulso Microcredit, which launched the first crowdfunding platform for low-income microentrepreneurs in Brazil. Useche received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Federal University of Paraná, master’s in law for the social sector from Universidade Positivo, trained in Performance Measurement for Effective Management of Nonprofit Organizations at Harvard Business School, and is certified in Social Innovation and Systemic Entrepreneurship by the University of Cape Town. Useche is participating in the Aspen Ideas Festival as a 2019 Scholar.
