Lindiwe Majele Sibanda is CEO and head of mission of the Food, Agriculture and Natural Resources Policy Analysis Network. She has been a trustee and advisor to international food security-related initiatives in various capacities. A regular university guest lecturer, she has worked as a university professor in agriculture, animal sciences, and veterinary sciences. Sibanda is a member of the UN Committee for Policy Development, a subsidiary body of the Economic and Social Council Committee, and the African Union Commission Leadership Council. Recognition for her contribution toward African agriculture and food security includes the Government of South Africa’s Science Diplomacy Award, the FARA Award for Exemplary leadership, and the Yara Prize.
