Margaret Hagan

Margaret Hagan is a lawyer and designer. She directs the Legal Design Lab at Stanford Law School’s Center on the Legal Profession and lectures at Stanford Institute of Design (the d.school). Hagan’s work focuses on bringing design into the world of law to create a new generation of accessible, engaging legal services. A Fellow at the d.school from 2013 to 2014, she launched the Program for Legal Tech and Design to explore how design can make legal services more usable, useful, and engaging. Prior to graduating from Stanford Law in 2013, Hagan was a student Fellow at the Center for Internet and Society and president of Stanford Law and Technology Association.
