Marissa Pagnani McGowan

Marissa Pagnani McGowan is chief sustainability officer for North America at L’Oréal, where she stewards its sustainability platform, L’Oréal for the Future. She’s a member of L’Oréal’s strategic committee for the North America zone and its worldwide corporate responsibility leadership team. Previously, McGowan was chief sustainability officer and held other corporate responsibility roles at PVH Corp, a fashion company that includes brands such as Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein. She started her career as a lawyer with Skadden Arps. McGowan serves on the board of Cradle to Cradle’s Products Innovation Institute; her previous service includes the Global Fashion Agenda Steering Committee and the boards of the Accord on Fire and Building Safety in Bangladesh and the Fair Labor Association.
