Mark Brnovich

Mark Brnovich is attorney general of Arizona, elected to a second four-year term in November 2018. A career prosecutor, he was an assistant US attorney for the District of Arizona; assistant attorney general with the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, where he developed an expertise in gambling law; and a prosecutor in the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, where he worked in the gang and repeat offender unit. Brnovich has also been a judge pro tem of Maricopa County Superior Court, a command staff judge advocate in the US Army National Guard, the director for constitutional government at the Goldwater Institute, and director of the Arizona Department of Gaming.
