Marty Odlin is founder and CEO of Running Tide, a decarbonization and carbon-removal platform using nature-based solutions, including open-ocean carbon removal, to sequester and store carbon in the deep ocean while naturally fighting ocean acidification, as well as regenerative aquaculture to restore coastal ecosystems. A fourth-generation member of a commercial fishing family, he grew up working on Casco Bay, Maine, and started Running Tide to combat the impacts of climate change he’s witnessed on his community. In addition to running his family’s fishing business, Odlin is an experienced systems engineer. Earlier in his career he ran the Columbia University Center for Sustainable Engineering, was a product development engineer for K2 Sports, and was a member of the US Ski Team.
