Mary Daly is president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. She is also a voting member of the Federal Open Market Committee. Previously, Daly was executive vice president and director of research at the bank, which she joined in 1996 as a research economist. Daly has been an adviser to the Congressional Budget Office, Social Security Administration and Library of Congress. She is the creator of the podcast “Zip Code Economies,” which highlights communities served by the San Francisco Fed. Daly is the author of “Lifecycle Events and Their Consequences,” “The Declining Work and Welfare of People with Disabilities” and “Income Mobility and the Middle Class.” She is a trustee of the Urban Institute.
