Maulik Sisodia is the executive director of Tarun Bharat Sangh, a water-focused Indian development NGO that has been focused on spreading simple water-saving steps, such as rainwater harvesting, to local communities across the arid reaches of India’s Rajasthan state. Having been with the organization since 2009, Sisodia believes that it has to influence national water policy if India is to adapt to rapidly declining water resources. He received his MBA in 2008 from the Symbiosis Institute of International Business, and belongs to a new generation of management graduates with careers in the development sector. Sisodia is a member of the 2019 class of New Voices Fellows at the Aspen Institute.
