Maurice Jones
President and CEO, OneTen
Maurice Jones is CEO of OneTen, a coalition of chief executives coming together to upskill, hire, and promote one million Black Americans over the next ten years into family-sustaining jobs with opportunities for advancement. Prior to this, he was the president of Local Initiatives Support Corporation, a national community development financial institution. From 2014 to 2016, Jones was secretary of commerce and trade for the Commonwealth of Virginia. He was deputy secretary for the US Department of Housing and Urban Development from 2012 to 2014 and, before that, president of Pilot Media. Jones also served as commissioner of the Virginia Department of Social Services and deputy chief of staff to former Virginia governor Mark Warner.
