Maya Green is a learning and engagement team intern at MASS Design Group. Previously, she was the organizing director at Student Voice, where she supported student-led, place-based, education-justice advocacy. Experienced in building power through relationships and examining policy through lived experiences, Green has spoken at SXSW Edu and written for the Hechinger Report and PBS Newshour on the importance of engaging students in climate-action efforts. A junior at Stanford University majoring in urban studies and minoring in education, she is driven by her belief in storytelling’s potential for social change and aspires to a career in housing policy, education, or cultural criticism.
