Michael Libenson is co-founder and CEO of Carbon Counts, a public benefit corporation tackling climate change with mobile gaming — specifically EverForest, a mobile game that enables players to grow a forest in-game and collectively plant trees in the real world. A serial entrepreneur who has built companies to solve problems and drive change, Libenson previously spent 20 years as an early employee or co-founder of two ventures with successful exits. As co-founder and president of SavingStar, he sought to transform and digitize the paper coupon industry. And as senior vice president and general manager of Upromise, he led efforts to enroll 10 million members with the mission of making college education more accessible and affordable. Earlier in his career, Libenson was a consultant with Monitor Deloitte.
