Michael Soenen is a filmmaker who has had a long leadership career in the venture capital, health care and retail industries. He is the creator and lead producer of “Nothing to See Here: Watts,” a documentary that offers an unfiltered look at life in Watts, California, inspired by a transformative police ride-along. Soenen has been a director at several companies, including health care apparel brand FIGS, Benchmark Analytics and Fooda. He was executive chairman of Manduka, which designs and sells yoga products, and a partner at Valor Equity Partners. Earlier in his career, he was president, CEO and chair of FTD group and an analyst at Salomon Brothers. Soenen was selected as a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute in 2011.
