Michelle Miller is an award-winning CBS news correspondent in New York, reporting for “CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley,” “CBS This Morning,” and “CBS Sunday Morning with Charles Osgood.” She joined CBS News in 2004 and has provided extensive coverage of the unrest in Ferguson, MO, the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, the 2008 and 2012 presidential elections, and Hurricanes Sandy and Katrina. Miller has also taught mass communications at Dillard University. She has won two national Emmy Awards and the Radio and Television News Directors Association’s Edward R. Murrow Award. Miller is a Poynter Institute Fellow and a Hitesman Fellow at Louisiana State University’s Manship School of Mass Communication.
