Nancy Green is president and CEO of Athleta, the athletic apparel division of Gap Inc., since 2013. Under her leadership, Athleta launched the “Power of She” brand campaign, introduced Athleta Girl, introduced aggressive sustainability goals, and earned B Corp certification. She also oversees Hill City, a men’s activewear line launched in 2018, and the company’s product innovation center Aro. Green serves on Gap Inc.’s management team, the Gap Inc. Foundation, and Sustainability Board of Trustees. She has worked for Gap Inc. for 25 years over two phases. Previously, she was chief creative officer at Old Navy and its interim co-president. Green ran the Pottery Barn division of Williams-Sonoma from 2003 to 2007.
