Natalie Bridgeman Fields is executive director of Accountability Counsel, a global nonprofit she founded in 2009 to amplify people’s voices to defend their environmental and human rights. She has taught courses at law schools and universities, was a Fellow at the Stanford Center for Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law, and has been recognized for her social entrepreneurship as an Echoing Green Fellow and Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation Entrepreneur. Previously, Fields served as a consultant on accountability for two international financial institutions. Earlier in her career, as a lawyer at Wilson Sonsini and through her own law office, she litigated corporate, human rights, and environmental cases in US courts.
