Nicolas Jammet is co-CEO of Sweetgreen, a restaurant chain serving simple, seasonal, healthy food that he and two friends founded in 2007 three months out of college. It has grown from its first location in Georgetown, DC, into a national brand with over 39 locations. Sweetgreen also produces the music and food Sweetlife Festival.Jammet and Sweetgreen’s accolades include Fast Company’s 50 Most Innovative Companies list, Inc’s 30 Under 30, Forbes’30 Under 30, and Food & Wine’s40 Big Food Thinkers 40 and Under. Also, First Lady Michelle Obama selected Jammet to join the presidential delegation to EXPO 2015, an international summit on global nutrition and sustainable food solutions.
