Nikki Santos is executive director of the Center for Native American Youth at the Aspen Institute, where she was previously acting director, associate director, and a program manager. Before that, Santos was student success program director and student outreach coordinator at the American Indian Higher Education Consortium. A member of the Coeur d’Alene Tribe, she is passionate about supporting Native youth and youth-led programming. Santos is a board member of Partnership with Native Americans, commissioner for the Aspen Institute’s Forum on Women and Girls and K12 Climate Action initiative, committee member of Miss Indian World Pageant Gathering of Nations Powwow, and an advisor to Doris Duke Charitable Fund’s Indigenous Peoples portfolio.
