Nile Rodgers is a guitarist, songwriter, and record producer. He co-founded the band Chic, which had hits like “Le Freak” and “Good Times,” and wrote and produced music for other artists, including Sister Sledge’s “We Are Family,” Diana Ross’ “I’m Coming Out,” David Bowie “Let’s Dance” and Madonna’s “Like A Virgin.” More recently, Rodgers had Grammy Award-winning collaborations with Daft Punk on their album “Random Access Memories” and Beyoncé on “Renaissance.” He co-founded the We Are Family Foundation, which promotes cultural diversity and empowers young people, and participated in LIVE AID, We Are The World and the Concert for Ukraine. Rodgers is a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee, Grammy Lifetime Achievement winner, Apple Music producer-in-residence, Songwriters Hall of Fame chairman, and Hipgnosis Songs co-founder.
