Noam Cohen is a journalist and author of The Know-It-Alls: The Rise of Silicon Valley as a Political Powerhouse and Social Wrecking Ball. From 2008 to 2014, he wrote the Link by Link column in The New York Times, which tracked the influence of digital technologies on the culture and economy and carried some of newspaper’s earliest coverage of Wikipedia, Bitcoin, Wikileaks, and Twitter. Cohen’s op-eds in The Times since 2016 have exposed the ties between Silicon Valley’s disruptive values and Donald Trump’s candidacy and election. He has appeared on MSNBC’s “All in with Chris Hayes” and CNBC’s “Squawk Alley.”
