Student, Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Parkland, FL
Olivia Wesch is a 16-year-old incoming junior at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. She enjoys music, skateboarding, and hanging out with her friends at the beach. After the massacre that occurred at her school on February 14, she has dedicated much of her time to the cause of ending gun violence. She has joined several anti-gun violence groups in and out of school and is fighting persistently against the issue of gun violence. Her goal is to help prevent other people around the world from feeling like she does, now labeled a "shooting survivor," and to allow us to live in a safe and peaceful world.
