Oren Cass is the executive director of American Compass, a conservative think tank. Previously, he was a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute, domestic policy director for the Romney–Ryan 2012 presidential campaign, editor of the Harvard Law Review, and a management consultant at Bain & Company. Cass speaks at universities and has testified before Congress. A contributing opinion writer for Financial Times, his commentary has also appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, National Affairs, and National Review. Cass is the author of The Once and Future Worker: A Vision for the Renewal of Work in America.
