Oscar Munoz is CEO United Airlines, since September 2015. He had previously been a member of its board of directors since the merger between United and Continental Airlines in 2010. Munoz came to United from the CSX railroad corporation, where he served as president and COO from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, he served in executive positions at the Coca-Cola Company, PepsiCo, and AT&T. A first-generation college graduate, Munoz has been recognized by Hispanic Business magazine twice as one of its 100 Most Influential Hispanics. In 2017, Fortune Magazine named him among the top 20 CEOs in its Businessperson of the Year list.
