Owen Oliver is native Quinault and Isleta Pueblo and a 2021 graduate of the University of Washington, with a degree in American Indian studies and political science. Concentrating his work in Indigenous education and cultural representation, he is secretary of the youth advisory board for the Aspen Institute’s Center for Native American Youth, where he manages youth programing and event building for the Champions of Change program. Oliver is also director of arts and culture for Headwater People Consulting. He recently published the Indigenous Walking Tour of UW (University of Washington) and has worked with Seattle’s Office of Planning and Community Development, Seattle Aquarium, Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture, and the UW Center for American Indian and Indigenous Studies, among others.
