Paula Caballero
Senior Director, Environment and Natural Resources Global Practice, World Bank
Paula Caballero is senior director for the World Bank’s environment and natural resources global practice. Prior to this, she was director for economic, social, and environmental affairs in the Colombia Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Caballero has been a leading voice and negotiator in international fora, including at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, the Post 2015 framework, and fisheries negotiations at the Inter-American Tropical Tuna Commission. Previously, she worked with the UN Development Programme and was assistant executive director for the Advisory Committee on Protection of the Sea. Caballero received a 2014 Zayed International Prize for the Environment for her contribution to environmental action leading to positive change.
