Peter Orszag is CEO of financial advisory at Lazard Freres & Co., leading the advisory businesses that serve companies and governments globally. Previously, he was the firm’s head of North American mergers and acquisitions and global co-head of health care. Prior to that, he was vice chairman of corporate and investment banking and chairman of the financial strategy and solutions group at Citigroup. During the Obama administration, Orszag was Congressional Budget Office director in 2007 and 2008, and Office of Management and Budget director from 2009 to 2010. He is a board member of the Peterson Institute for International Economics, Mount Sinai Medical Center, New Visions for Public Schools in New York, and the National Academy of Medicine.
