Phebe Novakovic

Phebe Novakovic is chairman and CEO of General Dynamics, since 2013. She’s held several executive roles since joining the company in 2001. From 1997 to 2001, Novakovic served as special assistant to the US secretary and deputy secretary of defense. She has also worked for the White House Office of Management and Budget and the Central Intelligence Agency. Novakovic serves on the board of directors of Abbott Laboratories, board of trustees of Northwestern University, and the boards for several other organizations, including the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation and the National Military Family Association. She chairs the Association of the United States Army and Ford’s Theatre.
