Phyllis Costanza is CEO of the UBS Optimus Foundation, dedicated to helping UBS clients fund impactful philanthropic programs that improve children’s lives globally. Appointed to her position in 2011, she has introduced innovative financing vehicles like the first Development Impact Bond. Previously, Costanza was a senior executive and board member of the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, linked to the hedge fund TCI. She also has more than a decade of experience as a management consultant and was the New York City representative for former governor Mario Cuomo, advising on policy and politics in Manhattan. Costanza sits on the boards of Power of Nutrition and Nutrition International.
