Rajah Caruth is a professional stock-car racing driver. Driving the No. 71 Chevrolet Silverado for Spire Motorsports, he races full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, having earned the series’ Most Popular Driver honor in 2024. At 22 years old, he’s been competing for six years. Caruth earned his first career NCTS pole position and victory in March 2024, becoming one of three African American drivers to ever win a NASCAR National Touring Series race. He also had five top-five finishes and 12 top-10 finishined in the 2024 season. In 2024 Caruth also graduated from Winston-Salem State University with a Bachelor of Science in Motorsports Management. He received the 2021 Wendell Scott Trailblazer Award in the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series and is a graduate of the NASCAR Drive for Diversity Driver Development Program (2020-21).
