Renée Fleming is a five-time Grammy Award-winning soprano and 2023 Kennedy Center honoree, performing in opera houses and concert halls worldwide. She has sung for occasions from the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony to the Super Bowl. Co-artistic director of Aspen Opera Theater, Fleming launched the first ongoing collaboration between the Kennedy Center and the National Institutes of Health and is a World Health Organization goodwill ambassador for arts and health. She has given presentations on the intersection of arts, health, and neuroscience in more than 60 cities around the world. Her anthology, “Music and Mind: Harnessing the Arts for Health and Wellness,” was published in April 2024. Other honors include the Crystal Award from the World Economic Forum in Davos, the Fulbright Lifetime Achievement Medal, and honorary doctorates from 10 leading universities.
