Ricardo Salinas is president of Grupo Salinas, a group of companies in finance, retail, telecommunications, and media. He founded Fundación Azteca, a nonprofit organization with a focus on health, nutrition, education, and the environment. Other Grupo Salinas initiatives seeking to build a better society are Kybernus, Fomento Cultural Grupo Salinas, Ciudad de las Ideas, and Caminos de la Libertad. Salinas has spoken at World Economic Forum, the Young Presidents Organization, The Economist Roundtable on Mexico, Institute of the Americas, UCLA, TED, and Harvard Business School on globalization, education, and entrepreneurship.
