Rich Powell is CEO of ClearPath and ClearPath Action, organizations advancing policies that accelerate innovations to reduce emissions in the energy and industrial sectors. He advises policymakers on investing in energy innovation, removing roadblocks to building and exporting America’s clean energy, and maintaining and promoting clean-energy resources. Prior to this, Powell was an advisory committee member of the Export-Import Bank of the United States from 2019 to 2021 and worked at McKinsey and Company in its energy and sustainability practices. Frequently testifying before Congress on climate change and energy innovation, he is a 2040 Foundation board member, Silverado Policy Accelerator strategic adviser and Atlantic Council Global Energy Center advisory group member.
