Creator of the widely cited annual Edelman Trust Barometer, he has advised senior executives through disruptions within their organizations and counseled countries on economic development programs. Edelman serves on the boards of Ad Council, Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose, the Atlantic Council, Project HOOD, P33, Gettysburg Foundation, the 9/11 Museum, and the National Committee on US China Relations. He’s a member of the Commercial Club of Chicago Civic Committee, World Economic Forum, and PR Seminar. A 2022 inductee into the American Advertising Hall of Fame, he was named PR Agency Professional of the Past 20 Years by PR Week in 2019.
