Rob Sherman is vice president and deputy chief privacy officer at Facebook, responsible for public policy issues surrounding privacy, security and online trust. He works to build the company's commitments to transparency, control and accountability. Previously, Sherman was a lawyer at Covington and Burling, representing Facebook and other technology and digital media companies on regulatory and public policy issues relating to privacy, data security, electronic marketing and communications, and digital content.
