Roberto Villaseñor

Roberto “Taz” Villaseñor is principal consultant for 21CP Solutions and former chief of the Tucson Police Department, from which he retired in 2015 after a 35-year career. Villaseñor served or commanded every division and bureau, including chief for six-plus years, patrol, investigations, internal affairs, bike patrol, PIO, hostage negotiations, community policing, and communications. His service also included the Arizona HIDTA, Arizona Association of Chiefs of Police, the Police Executive Research Forum Executive Board, and Customs and Border Protection Ethics and Integrity Advisory Panel. In 2014, Villaseñor was appointed to the President’s National Task Force on 21st Century Policing, and in 2015, he was appointed to the Arizona Criminal Justice Council.
