Ron Huberman is co-founder and executive chair of TeacherMatch, an education talent management company in the K-12 technology space that utilizes predictive analytics to enable school districts to make more informed hiring decisions. From 2009 to 2010, he was CEO and superintendent of Chicago Public Schools, the third largest school system in the United States, where he instituted reforms such as online growth assessments and accountability measures. Huberman’s earlier public sector roles include serving as Mayor Richard M. Daley’s chief of staff, CEO of the Chicago Transit Authority, and several positions in the Chicago Police Department, including rapid response officer, tactical gang team officer, and assistant deputy superintendent.
