Rosemary Collins
Educator; Literacy Fellow, Delta Health Alliance
Rosemary Collins is an educator and changemaker. A 2020-’21 Teach Plus Mississippi Policy Fellow, she is also a Literacy Fellow at Delta Health Alliance, providing at-risk third-graders in the Mississippi Delta area with targeted and essential reading interventions. Collins also mentors youth around character education, hygiene, and preparation to enter college or the workforce. She previously taught at Greenville Public School District, Desoto County Schools, and Cleveland Public School District. Collins’s recognition includes being named a 2014 Teacher of the Month by the Bolivar Commercial newspaper, being nominated for Teacher of the Year in 2016, and named the 2017 Life Changer of the Year by National Life Group. She has a master’s degree in elementary education from Delta State University.
