Samantha Barry is editor in chief of Glamour, overseeing content, development, and consumer experiences across the brand’s digital, social, video, and print verticals. Under her leadership, Glamour emphasizes a digital-first focus on original reporting, exclusive features, and unique perspectives impacting women across a range of topics. Barry is a guest lecturer at Yale University and a Sulzberger Fellow at Columbia University. Previously, she was executive producer for social and emerging media at CNN Worldwide, where she spearheaded its 2016 election coverage across social platforms, which received the first Edward R. Murrow Award for excellence in social media. Barry also worked at BBC World News in the UK and for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in Papua New Guinea, among others.
