Sanjay Gupta is chief medical correspondent for CNN and host of the podcast, “Coronavirus: Fact vs Fiction” on CNN Audio. A practicing neurosurgeon, he is an associate professor of neurosurgery at the Emory University School of Medicine and associate chief of neurosurgery at Grady Memorial Hospital. Gupta is the New York Times best-selling author of Chasing Life, Cheating Death, Monday Mornings, and Keep Sharp. He has won multiple Emmy and Peabody awards for his health and medical reporting across CNN, including coverage of the 2010 Haiti earthquake and the American suicide crisis. Gupta also contributes to CBS’s “60 Minutes” and is an executive producer for the HBO Documentary Unit.
