Sasha Issenberg is Washington correspondent for Monocle and a contributor to Bloomberg Politics. He covered the 2012 election as a Slate columnist and the 2008 election as a national political reporter for The Boston Globe. Issenberg’s work has also appeared in New York, The New York Times Magazine, and George, where he was a contributing editor. He is author of The Victory Lab: The Secret Science of Winning Campaigns; The Sushi Economy: Globalization and the Making of a Modern Delicacy;and Outpatients: The Astonishing New World of Medical Tourism. Issenberg is currently working on a political, legal, and social history of battles over same-sex marriage in the United States.
