Scott Budnick
Founder and President, Anti-Recidivism Coalition
Scott Budnick is founder and president of the Anti-Recidivism Coalition. Formerly executive vice president of Green Hat Films, he executive produced many comedies, including The Hangover series. A teacher, Budnick serves on the board for InsideOUT Writers, which aims to reduce juvenile recidivism through creative writing. He is a board member of My Brother’s Keeper Alliance and sits on California’s Board of State and Community Corrections and Community Colleges Board of Governors. Other board service includes the Los Angeles Conservation Corps and Loyola Law School Center for Juvenile Law and Policy. Budnick was California’s 2012 Volunteer of the Year for his work with youth in the criminal justice system.
