Shartia Brantley is deputy New York bureau chief of Bloomberg News and senior editor for the Americas for Bloomberg Live. She helps oversee more than 1,000 journalists and leads programming for the Bloomberg Equality Summit and the Sooner Than You Think technology conference. Brantley co-chairs the New York City chapter of the Black Professional Community at Bloomberg. Previously, she was a producer on “Mornings with Maria Bartiromo” at Fox Business Network and freelanced at Reuters and Arise News. Her recognition includes being named to The Network Journal’s 40 under Forty list and Albany State University’s 50 under 50 alumni list. Brantley is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
