Sheila Marcelo

Sheila Marcelo is chairwoman and CEO of Care.com, which she founded in 2006 after developing the plan as an entrepreneur in residence at Matrix Partners. Previously, she held leadership roles at executive search engine TheLadders.com and Upromise and was a management consultant and teaching fellow at Harvard Business School. Marcelo also founded WomenUp.org to increase women’s roles in the global economy. She has spoken widely on women in technology and entrepreneurship, including alongside President Obama at the White House Summit on Working Families, and her accolades include being named one of Fortune’s Top 10 Women Entrepreneurs and the youngest recipient of Harvard Business School’s Alumni Achievement Award.
