Sophie Purdom is a sustainable business practitioner and investor. She co-founded and writes the Climate Tech VC newsletter, with over 20,000 weekly readers, and is principal of C6 Solutions, an ESG strategy consultancy. An investor in early-stage climate-tech companies, Purdom previously founded Kula Bio, an ag-tech venture that makes carbon-negative ammonia fertilizer using microbes, where she raised over $15 million. She has taught on sustainable investing and founded and launched the Brown University Sustainable Investment Fund, the first ESG fund at a university endowment. Earlier in her career, Purdom was an associate consultant at Bain & Company. She is co-editor of the book Sustainable Investing: Revolutions in Theory and Practice.
