Stephanie Dua is co-founder, president, and COO of Homer, a company producing handcrafted early education experiences. She has spent 15 years in public education, most recently as a senior advisor to the Common Core Standards effort. Previously, she was a senior advisor to the Gates Foundation and Carnegie Corporation of New York’s Shared Learning Collaborative. Dua was CEO of the New York City Education Department’s Fund for Public Schools, raising more than $165 million to support literacy and teacher-training efforts. She launched her career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Co. In 2009, Dua was named to Crain’s New York Business 40 Under 40 list.
