Stephen "Johan" Feigenbaum is a singer, producer, and composer working in various genres. He was a creator and sole arranger of Yeethoven, a 2016 orchestral concert in which the music of Kanye West and Beethoven were interwoven. His 2017 project Doctrine presented traditional choral textures in an indie-pop format. Johan’s classical music has been performed by the Cincinnati Pops, Albany Symphony Orchestra, and Boston Children’s Chorus, among others, and as a producer and arranger he’s worked with artists including Vic Mensa, Alessia Cara, and Rufus Wainwright. He’s received two ASCAP Morton Gould Young Composer Awards, a 2013 Charles Ives award, and his folk-rock musical Independents was named a New York Times Critic’s Pick.
