Steven Ungerleider is a founding trustee of the Foundation for Global Sports Development, vice president of its executive board, and co-founder of its production arm, Sidewinder Films, whose latest film is At the Heart of Gold: Inside the USA Gymnastics Scandal. A sports psychologist, Ungerleider co-founded the Texas Program in Sports and Media at University of Texas, Austin. He has written several books on Olympic topics, including the best-selling Faust’s Gold: Inside the East German Doping Machine, and received an Emmy nomination for his research on the documentary, Munich ’72 and Beyond. Ungerleider served on the World Anti-Doping Agency Education and Ethics Committee and American Psychological Association National Advisory Panel.
