Sydney Trattner is a producer, director, and writer. She is currently senior producer and part of the creative team of the documentary series “Years of Living Dangerously,” the National Geographic Channel’s Emmy Award-winning exploration of the global impacts of climate change and solutions to combat them. For the program’s first season, she produced and directed Michael C. Hall’s examination of how climate change and sea-level rise are displacing tens of thousands of residents in low-lying Bangladesh. Trattner previously spent a decade in broadcast journalism at “CBS News” and “60 Minutes.” Her documentaries and segments have appeared on CBS, HBO, PBS, MSNBC, History Channel, and Al Jazeera.
