Tara Murphy Dougherty is the CEO of Govini, advancing U.S. competitiveness through dynamic data and machine learning. Prior to this, as the firm’s president of national security practice, she led strategy and growth and oversaw its work with all federal clients. Previously, Dougherty held leadership positions in technology across industry, government, and nonprofit sectors, including business development at Palantir Technologies and chief of staff for global strategic affairs in the office of the U.S. secretary of defense. A Council on Foreign Relations term member, she is a board member of the National Defense University Foundation, Center for Government Contracting at George Mason University, and Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association International D.C.
