Taylor Lorenz is a columnist at The Washington Post, covering technology and online culture. Prior to this, she was a technology reporter for The New York Times business section. Lorenz was previously a technology reporter at The Atlantic and The Daily Beast. She was a 2019 Knight Visiting Nieman Fellow at Harvard University, where her research focused on Instagram and news consumption and an affiliate at Harvard's Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society. An Alliance for Technology, Learning, and Society Institute at University of Colorado at Boulder board member, Lorenz has been named to Fortune's 40 Under 40, Adweek’s 2020 Young Influentials Who Are Shaping Media, Marketing and Tech, and Business Insider’s 2021 most influential technology reporters lists.
